Adam Ainsworth has been a storyteller almost his whole life. He is a long time resident on the Northern Range and has always dreamed of producing & hosting an annual cowboy festival. That dream came true in 1997 for Adam Ainsworth with the first Hat Creek Cowboy Campfire Festival. The dream continues to grow each year. In 2007, the Hat Creek Cowboy Festival celebrates 10 years and promises to be the best ever with the music of the almost famous Hat Creek Cowboy Orchestra playing those old cowboy tunes.
